Stopping the XL-DATA/MV daemon (mftfd) by executing the following command with super-user privileges.
/usr/mftf/lib/mftfd { -stop | -kill } device name |
Or
/usr/mftf/lib/mftfd { -stopall | -killall } |
-stop
Stops the XL-DATA/MV daemon (mftfd) using the specified device name after the data transfer is complete.
This command issues a stop request to the daemon and executes the request.
No new requests can be accepted.
-kill
Forcibly terminates the XL-DATA/MV daemon (mftfd) using the specified device name.
The daemon immediately terminates without waiting for the data transfer of the specified device to complete.
This command issues a forced termination request to the daemon and executes the request.
device name
Specifies the device name which is being used by the daemon that you want to stop.
On a UNIX system, for a logical unit initialized using the mftfdvini command, be sure to specify a device name which can reference the entire logical unit.
-stopall
Stops all XL-DATA/MV daemons (mftfd) after the data transfer for each device is complete.
This command issues a stop request to all daemons and executes the request.
No new requests can be accepted.
-killall
Forcibly terminates all XL-DATA/MV daemons (mftfd).
All daemons immediately terminate without waiting for the data transfers to complete.
This command issues a forced termination request to all daemons and executes the request.
The mftfd command has the following additional options:
/usr/mftf/lib/mftfd { -h | -v }
-h : Displays the use of the mftfd command.
-v : Displays the version.
Please confirm that the message of "KJU1000" is outputted to the console displays.
