D.1.20 acpair remove (Command for removing copy pairs)

NAME

acpair remove - Removing copy pairs.

SYNOPSIS

acpair remove -g COPY-GROUP -p PAIR [-xml]

DESCRIPTION

This command removes copy pairs from copy groups.

OPTIONS

-g COPY-GROUP

This option specifies the copy group name.

-p PAIR

This option specifies a copy pair to be deleted.

-xml

This option displays the result of the command execution in the XML format.

EXIT STATUS

=0: Terminate normally

>0: Terminate abnormally

EXAMPLES

> acpair remove -g group01 -p DX80/0x1:DX80/0x6
Successful completion.

Example of removing a copy pair in LU to Partition format.

> acpair remove -g group01 -p DX80/0x1[addr=0x0,size=0x10000]:DX80/0x6[addr=0x80]
Successful completion

NOTES

Since pairs are deleted regardless of their Advanced Copy statuses, check the Advanced Copy status and then delete them. If you delete a pair accidentally, stop Advanced Copy of the pair registered on ETERNUS Web GUI or create the same pair once again and then stop Advanced Copy.
