Purpose of the User's Guide
The AdvancedCopy Manager GUI User's Guide provides detailed information relating to the configuration and operation of Fujitsu's ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager (hereafter abbreviated to AdvancedCopy Manager) using the AdvancedCopy Manager GUI Client.
The information contained in this GUI User's Guide is generally complete, but where the product is used in conjunction other products, it is highly recommended that both this manual and the reference sources provided should be consulted prior to or in conjunction with relevant product manuals to ensure a reliable operation.

Audience
The intended audience for this document are users who are responsible for configuring or using AdvancedCopy Manager GUI Client in a Windows or UNIX environment and who have effective knowledge and experience in the topics outlined in the section entitled Prior Knowledge Assumptions.
Prior Knowledge Assumptions
These manuals have been prepared on the assumption that the reader will have access to the full suite of AdvancedCopy Manager operations manuals and a functional understanding of at least some of the topics described below, as may be applied in a Windows environment.
The requirement of such prior expertise may depend on the specific nature and vendor mix of the environment into which the AdvancedCopy Manager is installed.
