ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager 14.2 Installation and Setup Guide

E.7.1 Changing the JRE pathname used by License Manager

The License Manager uses the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) that is included in ETERNUS SF products (e.g. Manager of AdvancedCopy Manager, AdvancedCopy Manager CCM and ETERNUS SF Express). The License Manager obtains the JRE pathname from the following configuration file (esflm.conf).

Platform

Full pathname of esflm.conf

Windows

<Install Directory of License Manager>\etc\esflm.conf

Solaris
Linux

/etc/opt/FJSVesflm/esflm.conf

If the License Manager is installed after the installation of an ETERNUS SF product, the License Manager installer automatically writes the JRE pathname of the ETERNUS SF product to esflm.conf file.

However, if ETERNUS SF product is installed after the installation of License Manager, or, if ETERNUS SF product is re-installed in a directory different from previous installation after the installation of License Manager, the License Manager installer cannot write the JRE pathname of the ETERNUS SF product to esflm.conf file. Therefore, the content of esflm.conf file may become incorrect. For those cases, take appropriate actions.

The file format of esflm.conf is shown as follows. The <JRE path used by License Manager> must be one of the JRE paths of ETERNUS SF products.

JAVA_HOME=<JRE path used by License Manager>
