This section explains a command reference of License Manager.

The commands of License Manager are as follows.

Command name	Description
esflm	Performs various functions for license management.

The commands of License Manager are stored in the following directory.

Windows	<Install Directory of License Manager>\bin
Solaris Linux	/opt/FJSVesflm/bin

Note

The License Manager commands that can be executed depend on the user authority.

Command	Administrator privilege
esflm add	Required
esflm backup	Required

esflm listid	Not required
esflm remove	Required
esflm restore	Required

The meaning of "Administrator privilege" is different in each OS.

• For Linux or Solaris, it means that the effective user id of a user is 0.

• For Windows, it means that a user belongs to "Administrators" group.
