E.4.1 Uninstallation from Windows environment

The uninstallation procedures of License Manager are as follows.

  1. Log on to the system where the License Manager is to be uninstalled.

    Log on as a user that has Administrator privileges on the terminal where the License Manager is to be uninstalled.

  2. Remove the License Manager from the list of programs by following the procedure appropriate to the operating system being used.

    • For Windows Server 2003

      1. Double-click on the [Add or Remove Programs] icon in the Control Panel.

      2. On the "Add or Remove Programs" window, select [ETERNUS SF License Manager] and then click the [Change/Remove] button.

    • For Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2

      1. Double-click on the [Programs and Features] icon in the Control Panel.

      2. On the "Programs and Features" window, select [ETERNUS SF License Manager] and then click the [Uninstall] button.

  3. The following dialog will be displayed. Check and then click the [Yes] button.

    If the license information has been registered to License Manager, the following dialog will be displayed. Check if the installed ETERNUS SF products are using license. If it is no problem even if license information is removed, click the [Yes] button.

    When the uninstallation is started, the following window is displayed.

  4. The uninstallation of License Manager completes when the following window is displayed. Click the [Finish] button to close the uninstaller.

    Even if uninstall is carried out, the package directory may not be removed. If the directory remains, remove as required.
