This section describes the resources that are mandatory for this software.
In order to install this software newly, the following disk space is required for each directory. If required, extend the size of the corresponding file system or partition.

a: Number of backup disks
b: Number of transaction disks
c: Number of volume pairs for replication management
d: Capacity of saved file that is output according to "Volume lock error investigation function" in "ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operator's Guide (Windows)".
The output for each number of backup and transaction volumes and for each volume pair for replication management is made in sizes between several hundred KB and 2 MB each time a "in-use lock error" occurs.
Assuming a size of 2 MB per saved volume file, for n times a "in-use lock error" occurs, capacity d is determined by the following formula:
d = (a + b + 2 x c) x 2 MB x n times
A minimum of 64 Megabytes or more of memory is required to run this software.
