6.1.1 Registering VIOM Settings

Use the following procedure to integrate VIOM into Resource Coordinator VE:

1. From the RC console menu, select [Settings]-[External Software (VIOM)].

   The [Configure External Software] dialog is displayed.

2. In the [Configure External Software] dialog, enter the following items:

   User name

   Enter the name of a VIOM user account.

   Password

   Enter the password of the above VIOM user account.

3. Click <OK>.

   
   

6.1.1.1 Registering VIOM Server Profiles

Use the following procedure to configure VIOM server profiles:

1. From the RC console menu, select [Tools]-[VIOM Web UI].
   The Web interface of ServerView Virtual-IO Manager starts up.

2. Refer to the ServerView Virtual-IO Manager manual to configure server profiles.

Note

HBA address rename and VIOM cannot be used together within the same chassis.
