This appendix explains advisory notes for use of Resource Coordinator VE in combination with Systemwalker Centric Manager or ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser.
In environments where the following products have been installed, the SNMP Trap monitoring service and the SystemWalker MpWksttr service have already been installed.
Systemwalker Centric Manager (Operation management servers and section admin servers)
ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Manager
When the SystemWalker MpWksttr service has been installed, Resource Coordinator VE performs trouble management using the installed program.
When the following operations have been performed, the SystemWalker MpWksttr service will have been deleted, so perform "Installation and Setup".

Uninstallation of the software which installed the SystemWalker MpWksttr service, or Systemwalker Centric Manager (*1), in environments involving combination with Systemwalker Centric Manager or ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser.
*1: All Centric Manager operation environments, including those on which the SystemWalker MpWksttr service has not been installed, but excluding Operation management servers and section admin servers.

Uninstallation of ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Manager
Installation and Setup

Open the command prompt.
Only users with OS administrator authority can execute commands.
Move to the SystemWalker MpWksttr service folder.
>cd "Installation_folder\Manager\opt\FJSVswstt\mpwksttr\bin" <RETURN> |
Execute the installation command.
>nwtdsch -install "Installation_folder\Manager\opt\FJSVswstt" <RETURN> |
Move to the command folder of the SystemWalker MpWksttr service.
>cd "Installation_folder\Manager\opt\FJSVswstt\bin" <RETURN> |
Perform the setting for the SNMP trap service.
>mpmsts ON <RETURN> |
Reboot the system.

Move to the directory containing the FJSVswstt package.
The directory differs depending on the CPU architecture (x86, x64) of the system.
Check the CPU architecture of the system and move to the relevant directory.
Mount the Resource Coordinator VE CD-ROM, and execute the following command to move the directory.

# cd "CD-ROM_mount_point"/manager/RHEL5-x86/ <RETURN> |
x64
# cd "CD-ROM_mount_point"/manager/RHEL5-EM64T/ <RETURN> |
Install the FJSVswstt package.
# rpm -ivh --nodeps FJSVswstt-13.0-1.i386.rpm <RETURN> |
Reboot the system.
