7.5.1 Stopping agent

1. Login to the Service Console of VMware ESX Server as the operating system administrator (root).

2. Stop the Agent daemon

   # /opt/FJSVssage/bin/pstorageagt

3. Check that the Agent daemon has been stopped using the following command

   # /bin/ps -ef | grep FJSVssage process_ID

4. If not stopped, execute the following command.

   # /usr/bin/kill -9 process_ID
