11.6.6 Starting and stopping the AdvancedCopy Manager Tape daemon

• Starting the Tape daemon

  Execute the following command to start the Tape daemon.

  # /etc/init.d/FJSVswstm start

• Checking that the Tape daemon has started

  Execute the following command. If the tbod character string is displayed in the execution results, the daemon is already started.

  # ps -ef | grep tbod

• Stopping the Tape daemon

  Execute the following command to stop the Tape daemon.

  # /etc/init.d/FJSVswstm stop

  Only the Tape Server has the Tape daemon.
