NAME

stgxfwcmsetsdx - sets SDX object management unit

SYNOPSIS

/opt/FJSVswstf/bin/stgxfwcmsetsdx [-slice | -volume]

DESCRIPTION

The unit of operation of the SDX object treated with AdvancedCopy Manager (Refer to the "4.8.1 Units of SDX object operations") is set. Moreover, the unit of operation of a present SDX object is displayed.

The display form is 'Unit of management (SWSTGNODE = <configuration value>).'

Unit of management
Slice in case of each slice.
Volume in case of each logical volume.

One of these values are used value-environment variable SWSTGNODE is set. The value is Null when environment variable SWSTGNODE is not set.

OPTIONS

none: The unit of present of the SDX object management is displayed.

-slice: The unit of management of the SDX object treated with AdvancedCopy Manager is set to the unit of the slice.

-volume: The unit of management of each logical volume of the SDX object treated with AdvancedCopy Manager is set.

EXIT STATUS

=0:Completed successfully

>0:Terminated abnormally

EXAMPLES

The unit of present of the SDX object management in non-cluster environment is displayed.

The unit of the SDX object of the Storage Management Server service (The logical node name: aserv) is set to the unit of the slice.

NOTES

This command can be executed only by root users.
When the cluster is operated, each Storage Server service is set.
