This section explains combinations of AdvancedCopy Manager products in a system environment using the Tape Backup function.
The following table summarizes the combinations of product versions.
The Manager of AdvancedCopy Manager that is installed in the Storage Management Server and the Tape Manager installed in the Tape Server must be the same version.
If backup operations are performed when the Tape Server is also used as a Storage Server, the installed Tape Manager must be the same version as the Agent of AdvancedCopy Manager.
If the Agent platform is Solaris or Linux
