B.2 Tape server

The UTF8 language environment is required on Tape servers. Take the action shown in the following table:

Solaris	Add the UTF language environment to the Tape server.

The UTF8 language environment is mandatory for the Storage Management Server if backup operations are performed. The UTF8 language environment is mandatory for the Storage Management Server and Storage server if tape backup operations are performed. Action is required if there are differences in the language environments (LANG) of the Storage Management Server and the Tape servers.

The following table shows the actions required for various combinations of these two types of server:
