Back up the following management information on Storage Servers
If backup is being performed:
Backup management files
Pre-processing and post-processing scripts for backup management
If tape backup is used:
Pre-processing and post-processing scripts for copying to tape
Transaction volume locking specification file for backups
Backup volume locking specification file for backups
Backup restored volume locking specification file
Backup volume locking specification file for tape copy
If replication is used:
Replication management files
Pre-processing and post-processing scripts for replication management
Copy source volume locking specification file
Copy destination volume locking specification file
Timeout value specification file of concurrent suspend function
For servers that act as both a Storage Server and a Storage Management Server, and in cases where the Storage Management Server is upgraded at the same time, the repository is backed up during the upgrade procedure for the Storage Management Server. Accordingly, it is not necessary to back up the repository by copying the replication management files in the Storage Server.
