4.1 Required Hardware

Component-by-component hardware environments required to use Systemwalker Desktop Patrol are as follows:

Systemwalker Desktop Patrol CS

• Required CPU specifications

  Pentium4 1GHz or higher

• Required memory capacity

  Over 768 MB (excluding usage amount of OS)

• Required disk capacity (Note 1)

  737 MB + the size of Registered Contents or more + the size of registered patch (Note 2) + the size of CT operation status log (Note 3)

  737 MB + the size of Registered Contents or more + the size of registered patch (Note 2)

  Note 1: Taking above disk requirements and the size of the database into account, the following disk capacity is required when exe and metering information is buffered in:

  73 MB + the size of registered content or more + the size of distributed patch (Note)

  Note: The size of registered patch is important when an automatic patch installation function is used. When all patches are considered as the target of automatic patch installation, disk capacity exceeding 4GB is required as of June 2007.

Systemwalker Desktop Patrol MC

• Required CPU specifications

  Pentium III 800MHz or higher

• Required memory capacity

  384MB or more (excluding usage amount of OS)

• Required disk capacity

  25MB or more

Systemwalker Desktop Patrol CT

• Required CPU specifications

  Pentium 100MHz or higher

  Pentium II 266MHz or higher (When collecting information on software installed)

• Required memory capacity

  23MB or more (excluding usage amount of OS)

  Minimum memory to be used:

  At normal time: 0.7MB

  When collecting information on software installed: 1.7MB

  Command mode CT is non-resident.

• Required disk capacity

  11 MB or more (regular version) + size of patch to be installed (note)

  1.2 MB or more (the version of command mode CT)

  Note: Work disk size during installation of a patch will be required when an auto patch installation function is used.

  • When a security patch (Hotfix) is installed: 20 MB or more
  • When a service pack is installed: approximately 1 GB

Systemwalker Desktop Integrated Console

• Required CPU specifications

  Pentium II 333MHz or higher

• Required memory capacity

  64MB or more (not including OS usage capacity)

• Required disk capacity

  70MB

Management Target PC of PC Operation Management Function

When the PC operation management function is being used, as a PC of operation management target, it must be correspondent to Intel(R) vPro(TM) or Intel(R) Centrino(R) Pro. The following PCs are supported on June, 2007
