3.1.4 Hardware Information

"Hardware Details" and "lease contract information" are the two heads that make up the hardware information.

For lease contract information, please refer to "Lease Management Function".

mark1Hardware Details

Hardware information can be collected in two different ways: either collected independently from registry information or collected using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).

To collect information on Windows(R) 98, or Windows NT(R), using WMI, please download "Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) SDK 1.5 (Windows 95/98/NT 4.0)" from Microsoft Web site and install it on the PC with "Systemwalker Desktop Patrol CT".

The Hardware Information in the "Systemwalker Desktop Patrol Main Menu" is displayed as follows:

For detailed hardware information, Inventory information that can be collected and items that can be checked vary with the operating systems (OS) installed. Hardware information that can be retrieved is as per the table below:
