9.3.3 Adding node configuration information to the management partition

sfcsetup(1M) command with the -a option adds node configuration information to the management partition.

An example of adding node configuration information to the management information is shown below.

Perform the following operations at the adding node.

1. Add node configuration information to the management partition.

# sfcsetup -a /dev/sfdsk/gfs/rdsk/control <Enter>

2. The path name of the management partition that has been set up can be confirmed by executing the sfcsetup(1M) command with the -p option specified.

# sfcsetup -p <Enter>
/dev/sfdsk/gfs/dsk/control

3. Added node configuration information can be confirmed by executing sfcsetup(1M) with no option specified.

# sfcsetup <Enter>
HOSTID      CIPNAME     MP_PATH
8038xxxx    sunnyRMS     yes
8038yyyy    moonyRMS     yes
