If the secondary MDS fails because of a node failure, the primary MDS will not be affected. It will continue operation without the secondary MDS. In this case, the following process is performed:
1. Restarting the failed MDS
The MDS is restarted as a secondary MDS.
2. Making the restarted secondary MDS effective
The AC performs the processing necessary for recognizing the restarted secondary MDS.
