The server configurations that can construct with Shunsaku are shown below.
Basic configuration refers to the configuration in which all Shunsaku processes are allocated into 1 server and the configuration in which only the searchers are allocated to a separate server.
Multi-server configuration refers to the configuration in which operates with an additional director server and an additional sort server.
Admin Server refers to the server in which a management console is run on when operating Shunsaku from the management console.
Examples of each configuration are shown below.
For multi-server configuration, the relation among the time of the backup and recovery and the time in the output information of the log and performance log has to be considered. Therefore, it is necessary to synchronize the time on all server machines.
In this configuration, the same server is allocated for Shunsaku system (the director server) and the Admin Server.
Admin Server configuration cannot be operated with multiple servers.
