Chapter 1 Overview | > 1.3 Shunsaku Functions |
Lookup data may have some key information that can identify the data. After be converted to an XML document, these keys would be stored in Shunsaku as one of element in an XML document.
A document can be identified in high-speed and the performance can be improved by specifying and using this key at the XML document stored in Shunsaku. This is referred to as a direct access function.
A direct access function performs the data search, data update and data deletion in high-speed. Especially when adjusting the difference between data in Shunsaku and other database, Shunsaku can perform the process that requires for high throughput for a single application.
Refer to the Application Development Guide for more information on the direct access function.
