Appendix E Notes on XML Documents |
XML documents stored in Shunsaku must be well-formed.
A "well-formed XML document" is a document that meets the following standards based on the specification for XML documents. It is also possible to store XML documents that consist of only body text without preface sections (such as XML declarations and DTDs).
Shunsaku regards the first string starting with "<" as the start tag for the root element, and regards XML documents as being everything between the start tag and the corresponding end tag. Any white space (such as blanks, tabs or linefeed characters) in the XML document are left unchanged.
