C.4 Allowable Values for the Direct Access

The following table lists the allowable values associated with the direct access.

Direct access key name	Up to 32 bytes (alphanumeric characters)
The length of the direct access key definition file name	Up to 32 bytes (See Note below)
The length in 1 line of the direct access key definition file	Up to 4095 bytes (excluding linefeed characters)
The number of the direct access key name that can be written in the direct access key definition file	No limit
The number of text expressions or attribute expressions that can be written in the definition of 1 direct access key name.	Up to 64 expressions
The length of the direct access key	Up to 32,768 bytes

• Multi-byte characters cannot be specified in the direct access key definition file name.

• If the direct access key definition file name contains blank spaces or the hash character "#", enclose the entire folder name in double quotes(" ").

• Direct access key definition file name cannot include spaces or the hash character "#".
