6.3 Format of the Direct Access Key
This section explains the format of the direct access key when setting by the application.
direct access key element (*1), direct access key element, * |
*1) The direct access key value specified by the application when the direct access is used.
- If there is more than one direct access key element, separate them by commas (,).
- If the empty string is specified as the direct access key element, specify it by single quotes ('').
- If there is the character that has to be escaped in the direct access key element, add the escape character (\). Refer to B.3.3 Escape Characters for more information on the character that has to be escaped.
- Specify the length of the direct access key from 1 to 32768 bytes.
- If there are comments, processing instructions or CDATA sections in the direct access key elements, specify the same detail (add the escape to the character that has to be escaped) to the direct access key.
- Specify the same element nodes existed in an XML document to the direct access key. If an entity reference is included in the direct access key element and a symbol represented by the entity reference is specified in the direct access key, the return result may not be returned correctly.
The following figure shows the relationship between the direct access key, the direct access key name and the direct access key element.
