A.2.5 Creating and Editing the Conductor Environment File

If the conductor is not used in the current system, create a new conductor environment file. If the conductor is used, edit the existing conductor environment file.

Refer to Conductor Environment Files of the Operator's Guide for details of the conductor environment file.

Creating a Conductor Environment File

Copy from the conductor environment file sample shown below to create a new conductor environment file.

/etc/opt/FJSVshnsk/etc/conductor/conductor.cfg-sample

Set the name of the edited conductor environment file to "conductor identifier.cfg" and store it in the same directory as the sample file.

Editing the Conductor Environment File

Edit the existing conductor environment file as shown in the following table:

WaitTimer	Optional	If set, set that value in the WaitTimer parameter of the API environment file (*2). If not set, set 3600 in the WaitTimer parameter of the API environment file. Do not change the conductor environment file.

SorterInfo (*1)	Optional	If specified, delete

*1) These parameters are present only under Shunsaku 6.2.

If the V6.0 Start and Stop commands are to be used, set the Shunsaku system name determined by the SystemName parameter.

Set "_LAST_" as the InsertPoint parameter.

Add and edit the following parameter in the conductor environment file.

PfmFileSize	New in 8.0 system	If do not collect the performance log, specify "0".

Edit the other parameters if required.
