Chapter 6 Uninstall> 6.4 Uninstall for Application Servers

6.4.2 Under Windows

This section describes the Shunsaku API uninstall procedure for a Windows Application Server.

However, .NET API environment must be uninstalled before Shunsaku uninstallation if the .NET API is used.

mark1Uninstalling .NET API Environment

If Shunsaku API assembly (Fujitsu.Shunsaku.dll) and Shunsaku API publisher policy assembly (policy.8.0.Fujitsu.Shunsaku.dll) are registered to the global assembly cache (hereafter abbreviated as GAC), follow the procedure below:

Use the explorer to display GAC, select the Shunsaku API assembly and Shunsaku API publisher policy assembly, then select 'Delete' from the right click menu.

GAC is located in the following directory:

Operating system installation folder\assembly

mark1Uninstalling Shunsaku API

  1. Start the Shunsaku install program.

    1. Display the control panel.

      From the Start menu, select Settings, then click Control Panel.

    2. Execute deletion.

      Under Windows 2000:

      In the Control panel, double-click the Add/Remove Applications icon.

      Select Interstage Shunsaku Data Manager from the list box, then click the Add/Remove button.

      Under Windows Server 2003:

      In the Control panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

      Select Interstage Shunsaku Data Manager from the list box, then click the Add/Remove button.

  2. In the Welcome dialog, click the Next button.

  3. A confirmation message is displayed. Click the OK button to start the uninstall process.
  4. When the uninstall process has completed, click the Finish button.

  5. In the Restarting Windows dialog, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now, then click the OK button.
