5.2.2 Upgrade Installation on Search Servers

Environment resources are inherited when the upgrade is installed.

• Upgrade installations must be performed by a superuser.
• Stop Shunsaku before installing the upgrade.

1. Start the upgrade installation script (update.sh).

   For RHEL-AS3(x86)/ES3(x86)

   # mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
   # cd /mnt/cdrom/redhat
   # ./update.sh

   
   

2. Enter "y" and press ENTER to perform the upgrade installation.
