Volumes in local classes and shared classes cannot be used as:
/ (root), /usr, /var, /boot, /boot/efi, swap areas
To manage disks for these uses with GDS, register the disks with the root class.
Root Class
With servers other than IPF servers, the root class cannot be created and system disk management cannot be performed.
