Memory could not be allocated. Memory of system is insufficient. Processing cannot be continued.
Please check the state of a system, and wait for the termination of another process, or increase the swap space or real memory. After it and re-execute the command.
Failed to get major number of drivename. Processing cannot be continued.
Check the system environment of device driver.
Failed to open /etc/mnttab or /etc/vfstab file because of errmsg. Processing cannot be continued.
Make sure that /etc/vfstab exists. If not, restore it from a backup, or see Section 22.2.3, "Setting vfstab" and redefine it. The problem of Solaris OE occurs when /etc/mnttab is lost in the multiuser mode. Please investigate and deal with the message of Solaris OE.
Failed to get the file system configuration information in the management partition.
Restore the file system configuration information. For detail, see Chapter 16, "Management Partition."
User specified a invalid device number (dnum.)
Correct device number and this command is re-executed.
Failed work with unknown error.
Contact local Customer Support.
Failed to convert special to block special path name. Other file systems are processed continuously.
Check the definition of file system in the /etc/vfstab.
Failed to open special or mntpoint because of errmsg. Other file systems are processed continuously.
Check the arguments of command or the system environment file.
If the logical volume of the GFS Shared File System is used, information is displayed only when the logical volume of the GFS Shared File System is activated. If the logical volume is not activated, retry after activating it.
If the GFS Shared File System management view is used for operation, retry after activating the logical volume.
sfcinfo cannot identify the partition type because the partition configuration information of the file system is inconsistent. For example, sfcinfo outputs this message immediately after backup data is restored to a different partition if the file system before the partition configuration information is correctly overwritten by sfcadm(1M) still exists.
Use sfcadm(1M) and correctly set the partition configuration information of the file system for which the message is output.
Configuration data of the specified partition is invalid. Other file systems are processed continuously.
Check the specified partition to determine if it is an sfcfs file system.
Failed to obtain the device data of partition special. Other file systems are processed continuously.
