24.5 Restoring using Standard Solaris OE commands

The following describes the procedure for restoring a file system from the backup tapes prepared as described earlier.

Two restoration methods are available:

• Restoring file by file using the appropriate standard Solaris OE command
• Restoring an entire file system using dd(1M)
