21.1.4 Change (partition configuration)
The following describes the flow of operations to change the partition configuration of a file system. Using the GFS Management View, the following configuration changes can be made:
- Addition of a file data partition
- Addition of a meta-data partition
A file data partition can be added to a mounted or unmounted file system.

For details on each operation in the flow described in the following figure, see Section 21.3 "Change."
