12.1.1 Basic hardware configuration for use of file system

The following basic configuration is required to build the GFS Shared File System:

• Shared disk device which provides simultaneous access between nodes sharing the file system
• One or more independent private LANs for inter-node survival monitoring which is used for PRIMECLUSTER.
• Remote Console Connecting Unit
• GUI display personal computer or Solaris OE computer with bit map
• Public LAN
