1.1 The Basics of Machine Administration

The Machine Administration software monitors the status of the main unit hardware, reports status changes, and supports failure recovery (hereinafter, the Machine Administration software is referred to as Machine Administration).

Using this software allows users to monitor the status of the main unit hardware with ease, and perform easier recovery from failures.

Machine Administration is included in the Enhanced Support Facility (ESF).

Installing ESF in the main unit allows you to use Machine Administration.
