13.2 Target log file list

To prevent excessive use of the system disk space, the following log files are regularly cleared.

/var/adm/messages

/var/log/syslog

/var/adm/wtmp (Note)

/var/adm/wtmpx (Note)

/var/adm/vold.log

/var/adm/sulog

/var/cron/log

/var/saf/_log

/var/saf/zsmon/log

/var/adm/spellhist

/var/lp/logs/requests

/var/lp/logs/lpsched

Note) If the accounting is enabled, the log file is not cleared.
