Chapter 8 File System Operations (GUI) | > 8.4 Deletion |
The following describes the procedure for deleting the file system using the GFS Management View.
Note of Operation
- The operation result in Management View is reflected in the display of the Main Screen by Click [Update Now] on the [View] menu.
- If you cannot get an sfcfs information, you cannot do the deletion operation to the file system. Please deal according to the output error message.
(1) Unmount a file system
Unmount a file system on all nodes before deletion.
For detail of the unmount procedure, see "Unmount of all nodes."
(2) Selecting a file system
From the [Mount tree] or [File system Information] field in the main screen, select the file system you want to delete. Only file systems of the sfcfs type can be selected.
(3) Deleting the file system
Click [Delete] on the [Operation] menu, the following warning message appears.
To delete the file system, press <Yes> button.
To cancel the deletion of the file system, press <No> button.
