5.3 Notes on Management

If a failure occurs in the management partition, the GFS Shared File System within a cluster system stops. To overcome this, it is recommended to mirror the volumes within the management partition.

Also, prior to changing the configuration of the file system, make a backup of the management partition information with sfcgetconf(8).
