A.2.18 Operation in Cluster System

Understand and pay attention to the following points when changing the configuration in a cluster system.

• Before registering disks with a class, create disk resources through the cluster automatic resource registration.
  
  For details about the automatic resource registration, see "Resister shared disk units "
• Disks for which disk resources has not been created yet cannot be registered with a shared class.
• For disks to be registered with a shadow class, disk resource creation is not required.
• Do not create disk resources of certain disks in multiple cluster domains.
• To register MPHD disks or MPLB disks from GDS Management View, after conducting automatic resource registration, execute [Update Physical Disk Information] in the [Operation] menu prior to the registration.
• To conduct object operation in a cluster system, enable cluster control.
