3.6.6.4 インタフェースup/downの動作履歴の設定

インタフェースup/downの動作履歴を、syslogメッセージとして出力します。本メッセージはINFOレベルで出力されるため、以下の設定になっている必要があります。

【設定ファイル】

/etc/syslog.conf

【設定内容】

メッセージ出力を有効にする場合
設定ファイルに“*.info”の情報を追加します。
なお、本設定では、/var/log/messagesファイルにメッセージが出力されます。

# Log all kernel messages to the console.
# Logging much else clutters up the screen.
#kern.*                                                 /dev/console

# Log anything (except mail) of level info or higher.
# Don't log private authentication messages!
*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none                /var/log/messages

# The authpriv file has restricted access.
authpriv.*                                              /var/log/secure

# Log all the mail messages in one place.
mail.*                                                  /var/log/maillog

メッセージ出力を無効にする場合設定ファイルに“*.info”の情報を削除します。

【設定内容の通知】

設定ファイル(/etc/syslog.conf)を変更した後、スーパ・ユーザ資格にて以下の様にsyslogデーモン(syslogd)の再起動を行います。

# /etc/init.d/syslog restart

システムログの詳細な設定方法については、システムのオンラインマニュアル等を参照してください。なお、伝送路監視異常時のメッセージについては、ERRORレベルでログに出力されるため、特別な設定を行う必要はありません。
