4.5.3 Environment variable modification

To change an environment variable, execute the following command on the host:

wvSetparam <environment-variable> <setting-value>

The specified value is set to the variable "environment variable". When executed, the modified value is displayed in the following format:

Display format :
<Attribute>:<Environment variable name> <Value>

EXAMPLES :

  1. Normal result

    Changing the display language

    # /etc/opt/FJSVwvbs/etc/bin/wvSetparam locale english

    usr:locale english

  2. Abnormal result

    If the specified variable is inappropriate, the following message appears.

    "No such key <specified environment variable>"
